David Sarabia

David Sarabia is a mobile commerce expert with over 12 years of e-commerce experience. He is the founder of eMobileCart.com, the world’s first mobile commerce platform built for touch phones and tablets such as iPhone, iPad and Android devices. The platform is now in private beta and is slated to launch in Summer of 2011.

David is also co-founder of the Mobile Web Association, a professional think tank for mobile web, mobile commerce and mobile marketing professionals with an aim to create best practices and promote emerging technologies. He is also author of the first mobile commerce book focused on what he calls “touch-commerce”: Mobile Commerce Book - Tapping the M-Commerce Opportunity.

Prior to funding eMobileCart.com, David held a Director post at UPrinting.com, growing a two person marketing team to over 50 people with dedicated staff in search, email, affiliate, e-commerce, user experience and analytics. He was directly responsible for strategy and successful execution of all marketing and branding campaigns. Under David’s leadership, UPrinting’s revenue grew by 998% over a 3 year period, establishing them as the #1 fastest growing printing company in the US on Inc. 500 list for 2009.

David started his career as an e-commerce consultant, where he worked with global brands including LG, American Express, US Auto Parts, The Jewish Federations and more.
