“As Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Legal, David is responsible for overseeing our corporate development and legal efforts. In his prior positions at DivX, he worked on legal, business development and corporate development activities.
Before joining DivX in 2004, David was a Principal at Maveron, a venture capital firm focused on consumer-oriented startups. Prior to that, he was Associate General Counsel and Director of Business Development at drugstore.com and in private law practice in Los Angeles. David was a Luce Scholar in China where he taught intellectual property law at China University of Politics and Law and consulted for CITIC, the Chinese government’s investment bank.
David has a bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and a JD from Yale Law School. He clerked for Judge Alfred T. Goodwin of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.” (Source: DivX)
