David Nelson-Gal is responsible for Intransa’s ongoing product development. His team’s duties include the design, quality assurance and delivery of the company’s installer-ready server, storage and appliance infrastructure and services for the demands of open video surveillance and physical security. Mr. Nelson-Gal has led successful enterprise software organizations in mobile, social media, content management and system software, delivering products in Software as a Service (SaaS), plus mobile and traditional, mission-critical packaged software. He has also pioneered new processes driving agility, efficiency and quality, both for large multi-national corporations as well as in small, start-up environments.
With 20 years of experience leading fast-paced enterprise software and platform companies, Mr. Nelson-Gal’s diverse background includes 14 years in varied executive assignments at Sun Microsystems, including as Vice President of Software Engineering. He joined Intransa from his role of Chief Product Officer at Syncapse Corporation, and earlier as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Interwoven, Inc.
Mr. Nelson Gal holds both a BS, Honors and a MS, Computer Science, from the University of Michigan.
