David Morgan is the Chief Technology Officer of SyCoTel Networks Inc., a wholesale voice over IP company.
He most recently comes from Telemedium Corp. where, as CTO, he designed and built their wholesale VoIP infrastructure and managed the operations, ongoing software development, and technical support for 5 1/2 years.
His career in software development, database design/administration, and network administration spans 22 years beginning with his work for a government explosives research institute in 1989.
In the mid to late 90’s, Mr. Morgan developed an award-winning shareware newsreader which won numerous awards including a 4 stars rating from Ziff-Davis.
He worked at Infoseek as a search engineer on the 5 person main web index team. Toward the end of his time there, he was the last remaining search engineer on that team. During this period the size of the main web search index was doubled by his efforts.
From there, Mr. Morgan went to SimDesk technologies where he was in charge of one of the flagship products of this $200 million company.
