Yahoo
David Ko is the head of mobile operations at Zynga.
He most recently served as senior vice president of Yahoo!’s Audience, Mobile and Local businesses.
Prior to this role, Ko led all aspects of Yahoo!’s mobile business globally, including strategy, product and monetization.
Ko, a Yahoo! veteran, joined the company in April 2000, has held various leadership roles within the organization. He was a key contributor to the distribution strategy of Yahoo! products such as Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Messenger and other services. Prior to joining Yahoo!, Ko served as a senior associate for Equity Capital Markets at Salomon Smith Barney, where he was responsible for identifying, executing and closing deals in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Before joining the Equity Capital Markets group, he was a financial analyst for the Investment Banking Division in Global Energy.
Ko is a graduate of New York University, Stern School of Business. He lives in Palo Alto, California with his family and enjoys reading tech blogs, photography and playing golf on the weekends.
