David is the Director of Corporate Development at Shutterstock, the world’s largest subscription-based digital stock photography agency. Prior to Shutterstock, David was a member of the investment team at Insight Venture Partners, a leading venture capital and private equity firm that focuses exclusively on software and Internet businesses. At Insight, David helped to invest over $172 million in private technology companies including the firm’s investments in eVestment Alliance and Twitter.
Prior to joining Insight, David worked for Terry Hines and Associates in marketing and partner relationship management for DreamWorks SKG and Warner Brothers Studios. He has also planned and executed viral marketing initiatives as an independent contractor for Cartoon Network’s ‘Adult Swim.’ The product of a Cuban Jewish family, David graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a double major in Economics and Political Science and a minor in Hispanic Studies.
