David is an entrepreneur with expertise in mobile and social media.

David has deep expertise the business of emerging media such as mobile online video and social networks. In 2005 David launched You Are TV – a pioneering online video site targeted towards independent filmmakers and content creators. David was also founder of You Are Media, Inc., an agency that builds mobile and social media applications, and helps companies effectively market in emerging media such as mobile, social networks, online video, and gaming.

Since 2003 David has been in the Mobile Content space. As the first employee at Thumbplay, David was a member of the launch team for the leading direct-to-consumer, Mobile subscription service. Prior to Thumbplay, David worked for mobile startup Flycell – one of the very first mobile content providers in the US. There he helped managed web programming while heading up content acquisition negotiating and executing Flycell’s first ringtone licensing deals. Before entering the digital content space, David honed his sales skill at IT media powerhouse TechTarget.
