Now a freelance consultant in techmedia, games and animation. He was previously CEO / Executive director with UK animation / entertainment software company Short Fuze Limited which was developing Moviestorm (digital animation for amateurs (www.moviestorm.co.uk)). A start up funded by NESTA, IQ Capital, GEIF, Create Partners and Cambridge Angels, where he recruited the management team for the two original founders
He took the company from a bedroom idea in October 2006, built a team of 17 people, built the company and all the infrastructure, raised $6m over 2 1/2 years, completed and launched the commercial version of Moviestorm, built and launched a community website, built the online shop and started taking revenue from content sales. The company grew through the pioneer and into the early mass adopter stage of 25,000 registered users and significant downloads by December 2008 and 27,000 by January 2009.
