Dave Van de Walle / Area 224
Dave Van de Walle is Chief Marketing Officer of StraterEdge Consulting, creators of 12 Minute Marketing and CloutReach. Both services aim to help small businesses to increase their sales velocity and marketing effectiveness.
Dave blogs at Area 224 (http://area224.com) and was founder of that company in 2009 until its sale to StraterEdge in early 2011.
Dave Van de Walle also served Founder, President & CEO of U Sphere, Inc. – a Web 2.0 portal for the college and university admissions process.
Dave bootstrapped the business from its inception in February 2006, and handles marketing, sales and tech strategy for the company from its Evanston, Illinois headquarters.
He previously served as VP of Global Public Relations at Chicago-based Aon Corp., and as Director of Public Relations for the Turnaround Management Association (a not-for-profit that works with distressed and underperforming businesses).
