Dave Hoover is a principal and Chief Craftsman at Obtiva in Chicago. He was the lead developer of Mad Mimi from 2007-2009. He has led the company’s recruiting efforts through its rapid growth in 2009-2010. He authored the book Apprenticeship Patterns and pioneered Obtiva’s apprenticeship program. More recently Dave has been consulting at a variety of clients in Chicago, mostly focused on Ruby projects.
