Darian Shirazi is the CEO of Radius, which he founded in 2009. Radius is the system of record for small businesses in America and tracks comprehensive information about 22 million small businesses continuously. Fortune 500 companies and medium-sized businesses rely on Radius’ data to underwrite and understand customers as well as improve their sales process. With more than 2 billion pieces of information about the smallest businesses in the US, Radius has become one of the most comprehensive data sets about SMBs available today.
Darian has a long history working in the Internet industry to build some of the world’s most groundbreaking products and companies. In 2005, he joined the Facebook team as one of the first outside engineering hires. At Facebook, Darian worked on a myriad of projects. Prior to Facebook, Darian worked at eBay on the Sell Your Item team.
Aside from Darian’s position at Radius, he has invested, advised, or founded several other companies including: Udemy – the online education platform, Wedding Party – guest photo albums for weddings, MessageMe – great mobile messaging, 50cubes – the creators of Mall World on Facebook.
Darian briefly studied Philosophy and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
