After working in the advertising world for 4 years, Danika transitioned her career over to the emerging tech industry with her first start up called SitOrSquat. She was the sole designer on the bathroom finding application along with just one other developer. After 2 years of building it up, she sold the product to Procter and Gamble while continuing to co-run her digital design agency Densebrain. There she lead the design team and worked on dozens of consumer facing iPhone apps along with her own app ideas. In 2011, Danika took on a new project called Flavorize where she became the lead UI/UX designer and took an idea and love of food and helped build the first few prototypes of a product that learns about your flavor profile and then helps you decide what you may like to eat later on. After developing the product for 1.5 years, Danika moved over to Sonic Notify where she is the lead UI/UX Designer working on B2B work primarily and designing systems that are technically very complex.
Danika loves to concept and talk about new products or functionality with other team mates, go through the information architecture (creating site maps, user flows, wire frames, etc), and then using her graphic design skills, bring the product to life making it pixel perfect.
