Dan played a central role in defining, building and promoting DivX’s initial efforts with its MPEG-4 Codec technology.
In 2002, he left DivX and founded CoreCodec with the goal of creating both multimedia technologies and universal developer tools to simplifying the ‘Developer to End User’ experience.
While at CoreCodec he has establish ground breaking products including the Matroska Media Container, CoreAVC H.264 Video Codec, and the Ubiquitous CorePlayer Platform, the leading multimedia technology aggregator for mobile devices.
