Daniel Estrada
Daniel Estrada is the former Chief Technology Officer and Product Manager at Scavado, a talent search engine for recruiters. Scavado searches the web for passive candidates, compiles their contact information, and builds a comprehensive pipeline to recruit. Scavado automates the time-consuming process of Internet sourcing to scour the web, including business and social networks, for the best prospective candidates.
Estrada has over 14 years of experience as a technologist and entrepreneur. He began his career as a web developer and project manager and has since founded 3 companies. He has also served as a technology consultant to small and large organizations, including several Fortune 100 companies, and has written and spoken nationally and abroad on a variety of topics, including online business, entrepreneurship, and litigation technology issues.
Prior to joining Scavado in 2011, Estrada was an e-discovery consultant and President of D.C. Estrada, a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based legal technology consulting firm.
Estrada has also served on the board of various local trade groups, including aimWest (www.aimwest.org). He is fluent in German, Spanish, and English, speaks conversational French, and has lived in several countries. In 2009, Estrada was named as an “Entrepreneur of Distinction” by Corp! Magazine. In 2009 and 2010, Estrada was one of the Grand Rapids Business Journal’s “40 Under Forty” business professionals.
