As EVP, Marketing & Products, Dan Weiner is responsible for the company’s marketing initiatives and product strategy. This includes online marketing, PR, social media, and overall company positioning, as well as developing new product offerings and revenues in alignment with the company’s commercialization, technology and sales activities.
Most recently, Dan was Managing Director of the New York office for Red Bricks Media, a leading interactive agency specializing in Search & Performance Marketing. Prior to that, he was at Sony Music Entertainment as Vice President, Online Media Network, responsible for products and monetization across the company’s hundreds of artist and label sites. There he launched a range of new offerings for content delivery, sponsorship integration, and community tools, including the industry-leading Musicbox (now MyPlay) broadband video network. Dan has also held product and marketing roles at Idealab, and Priceline.com. Prior to business school, Dan worked in Management Consulting and Strategic Planning. Dan holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a BA in Social Anthropology from Harvard University.
