“Dan began his career in financial services while still an undergraduate student; first at Drexel Burnham Lambert and then at PaineWebber in Beverly Hills, California. After a trek to Louisiana for graduate school he was hired on as Director of Corporate Communications at Great Western Financial Securities in Northridge, California (now part of Washington Mutual).
“Lured to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1996, Dan was hired by Investools, Inc. as their ninth employee after the company had just received second-round financing from Mohr Davidow Ventures and Softbank Capital. Dan was with Investools, Inc., now known as thinkorswim Group, Inc. (SWIM), for more than ten years; most recently as their Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development.”
