Dan Murillo is a Senior Associate with Greycroft Partners and is a member of the West Coast office. He is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities, sourcing new deals and working with existing portfolio companies. He is an observer on the board of directors of Movoxx and United Sample.
Prior to Greycroft, Dan was a Program Manager on the Microsoft Office Outlook team where he worked primarily on calendar and email related features. As a Program Manager he was responsible for managing the product development lifecycle, including feature selection, design, and engineering management. Additionally, he managed key product development partnerships with Morgan Stanley and Research in Motion.
Dan’s past experience also includes investment banking with Morgan Stanley, strategic planning with Tyco Electronics in Shanghai, China and IT consulting with Infosys Technologies in Bangalore, India.
Dan holds a BA, magna cum laude, in Computer Science from Amherst College, with additional coursework from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. He also sits on the international board of advisors for the Prime Minister of a small Caribbean nation.
