Dan Lane is a serial entrepreneur and telecommunications specialist.
He was the co-founder of Howler Technologies, a software-application company whose product was licensed by China Mobile and pre-installed on Nokia E-Series handsets. Dan has also acted in telecoms advisory roles for Hutchison Whampoa and The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
Dan is also one of the founders of “The Really Mobile Project” site and has previously contributed to the Mobile Industry Review blog.
Most recently Dan co-founded Bababoo, a smart telephony app providing the ability to place free and low-cost calls both domestically & internationally without changing your number and all from one app.
He started his career in the mid ’90s as a systems administrator for Internet and telephony companies.
