Dan Illowsky is the Founder & CTO of Covia Labs. In 2003, he founded DARTdevices, which he later sold to Covia Labs in 2009.
In 2000, he co-founded Storymail, Inc. which he later sold to Gemstar/TV Guide in 2002.
Prior, he worked as a consultant for Xerox and Zoran, writing parts of the Windows 95 OS, Digital picture processing at Xerox PARC, Optimized the BSAFE libraries at RSA, assisted with the design and microcode custom speech recognition chip at Intel, and worked on the video and audio codecs at Zoran.
Dan resides in the Bay Area.
