With 25 years of software experience under his belt, Dan Fraisl serves as Livescribe’s Chief Product Officer, Software and Services. As a Silicon Valley veteran, Dan has founded or co-founded several successful startup companies dedicated to creating Internet-based applications and infrastructure, and software for mobile devices including Zoomii Learning Inc. (acquired by Livescribe), Network 24 Communications (acquired by Akamai), Asempra Technologies (acquired by BakBone), and Digital Paper (acquired by Software Publishing). In addition to building companies from the ground up, Dan has driven advancements for several technology leaders, like Macromedia Inc., where he worked on new business models and technologies which led to the creation of Adobe Connect. Dan has also previously held management and engineering positions with Go Corporation, Teknowledge Inc., and Rolm Corporation. Dan received a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Illinois.
