Daniel I. DeWolf is a founding member and Managing Director of Dawntreader Ventures, which was established in 1998. From 1999 until 2003, Mr. DeWolf was Head of Venture Capital Funds at Wit Capital and SoundView Technology Group (acquired by The Charles Schwab Corporation, with the resulting entity Schwab SoundView Capital Markets subsequently sold
to UBS). Prior to joining Dawntreader, Mr. DeWolf was a Partner and Of Counsel to the law firm of Camhy, Karlinsky & Stein LLP ("CKS") in New York City. Mr. DeWolf established the Corporate and Securities Practice Group at CKS in 1994 and was the head of the firm's New Media and E-Law Group. Mr. DeWolf has over 20 years of corporate transactional experience and has been an advisor to many early and developmental stage companies. Mr. DeWolf is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania as well as the University of Pennsylvania School of Law.
Mr. DeWolf currently serves as a Director of HNW, iParty (AMEX: IPT), Tutor.com, and Visible World, and is a former Director of Colloquis (acquired by Microsoft).
Mr. DeWolf is married and resides in Manhattan with his wife Pamela and two daughters, Susan and Wendy.
