Dan Benjamin is a business strategist, software developer, interface designer, and writer, with over 15 years of professional experience.
Dan is the CTO of Rails Machine, the co-founder of Cork’d, the web’s first social network and reviewing application for wine aficionados, which was later acquired by WLTV. He also built publishing tools for A List Apart, Capgemini, Halogen Guides, and others, and has developed software for companies including Convergys, MCI, Vitalsource, and Tupperware.
Dan is an avid writer and speaker with a focus on software development and technology, publishing articles on Hivelogic since 2000. His work has also been published both in print and online on sites including O’Reilly’s Mac Dev Center, A List Apart, and the FreeBSD Journal.
Dan has spoken at conferences including RailsConf, acts_as_conference, LinuxWorld Expo, and others.
