Don Aquilano joined Blue Chip as a director in 2004, after collaborating with the Firm for five years as Managing Director of Gazelle TechVentures. Don leads the Blue Chip Software & Services industry practice and has worked with several Blue Chip IV portfolio companies.
Before joining Gazelle in 2000, Don was a principal with Fox Group, a private equity and management consulting firm. Prior to Fox, Don worked as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group, where he co-led engagements involving clinical development and strategy for major pharmaceutical companies and strategy for global telecommunications and IT companies. Previously, Don worked in the technology and operations groups of Hewlett-Packard; as a manager of strategy with Diageo, a global consumer products company; and as co-founder of two software companies.
EDUCATION Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from University of Arizona; Master of Business Administration degree from Harvard University
