D. Scott Brown is the cofounder and CEO of Frogmetrics. At Frogmetrics, Brown designed and built the initial version of the product. In 2008, Brown and his cofounder, Jeremy Mims, were selected to participate in Y Combinator’s Summer Founders program in Cambridge, MA. After Y Combinator, Brown raised a funding round from Founders Fund, Aydin Senkut, Paul Buchheit, and others.
Prior to Frogmetrics, Brown held C-level roles in MarchingOrder (Ben Franklin Partners) and OnlySecure (acquired by NetShops). He has an undergraduate engineering degree in from the University of Pennsylvania, and has developed commercial software for Mac OS, Windows, Linux, Palm OS, and the web. Brown’s design work has been shown in 12 mainstream magazines and 3 museums, including the Philadelphia Institute for Contemporary Art.
