Cory von Wallenstein is VP, Product Management at Dyn Inc. where he leads product strategy, innovation and evangelism across all Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offerings for DNS, Email and Labs. Surrounded by a team of passionate and talented development, marketing, business development, and product experts, he is not only committed to growing the market for IaaS solutions as a whole, but to maximizing the role Dyn Inc. plays in the marketplace. Cory’s background walks a fine line between business and engineering, with experience in systems engineering, large-scale computing architecture, and agile application development as well as marketing, strategic messaging and high-level business development. Prior to joining Dyn Inc., Cory served as co-founder and President for Servprise International, Inc., leading the development efforts for innovative remote and automated failure recovery tools for large-scale computing environments and garnering great coverage from the technical media. Prior to Servprise, Cory worked to advance artificial intelligence technologies and research for human behavior modeling of air-combat fighter pilots at Charles River Analytics in Cambridge, MA, a leader in intelligent systems for the Department of Defense. He serves as co-chair for the Cloud & SaaS Cluster of the Mass Technology Leadership Council, where he assembles regular business and technology seminar events on managing SaaS revenue, growth and innovation. As a NH EPSCoR Statewide Committee Member, Cory pushes forward statewide research and evangelism efforts that make New Hampshire a great place to grow a business. Cory also serves on the Board of Advisors for Apptegic, Inc., an analytics startup dedicated to reducing churn, maximizing conversion and helping enterprises gain insight from customer usage patterns. Cory is a frequent speaker and session leader at technology and enterprise conferences around the world, including Interop, CloudCamp, Velocity, OSCON, Atlassian Summit and many more. He teaches a guest lecture twice annually at his alma mater Worcester Polytechnic Institute on the Adventures in Product Development, a student favorite that leads many to join the Dyn Inc. team. Cory has a BS in electrical and computer engineering and a minor in computer science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, MA.
