Corey is a General Partner at Highland Capital Partners, which he joined in 1997. Corey is currently chairman of the board of Gigamon (IPO in 2013) and serves on the boards of CrowdSource, Entourage, Fidelis, Malwarebytes, Pharmaca and vArmour Networks. He is a former director of AccentCare (acquired by Oak Hill in 2010), BAROnova, Hyperion (IPO in 2012; acquired by Horizon for $1.1 billion in 2015), OpGen (IPO in 2015) and YogaWorks (acquired by Great Hill in 2014). He has also been involved with BÂRRX (acquired by Covidien for $413 million in 2012), Conor (IPO in 2006; acquired by J&J for $1.4 billion in 2007), Helicos (IPO in 2007), NextCard (IPO in 1999), NuGenesis (acquired by Waters in 2004), Pervasis (acquired by Shire in 2012), Talaria (acquired by Google in 2013), Telcobuy.com (merged with World Wide Technology), Turbine (acquired by Warner Bros. in 2010) and US Labs (acquired by LabCorp in 2005). Previously, Corey worked at Robertson Stephens, ONI Systems (IPO in 2000; acquired by Ciena for $1.2 billion in 2002) and The Whitman Group.
