Having worked for over 20 years in senior operational and financial management positions, Colm has extensive experience in dealing with the issues facing rapid growth technology companies, from start-up through to sustainable growth phases. As CFO at NewBay, Colm steers all aspects of the group’s Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Procurement and Administration functions. A member of the company’s Senior Management Team, Colm also plays a key role in strategic decision-making and the setting of corporate policy. Before joining NewBay, Colm was a founding member of Norkom Group plc, a leading provider of financial crime and compliance solutions to the global financial services industry. Having grown rapidly over the past 10 years, Norkom was admitted to the Irish Stock Exchange in 2006 and achieved circa €50m annual revenues for year ended March 2010. Prior to Norkom, Colm held the position of International Director of Finance with Visio Corporation and also served as Group Financial Controller of Micropal Ltd in London. Colm holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Dublin and is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants (FCCA).
