Clay Epstein oversees the technical infrastructure required to emulate critical business systems of world–leading organizations who Venafi products must support. Epstein works with many Venafi customers and prospects to formulate and implement systems that leverage Venafi technologies to meet their unique business objectives.
Prior to joining Venafi, Epstein was vice president of Product and Technology at Identrus, where he was responsible for the overall strategic product direction, technology and management of the operating rule set for Identrus, a global identity management network of financial institutions. Previously, Epstein served as head of eCommerce Technologies for Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) in Melbourne, Australia, building ANZ’s secure Web infrastructure, Internet banking, and Internet-based payments processing systems. Previously, Epstein was the CTO for Digital Signature Trust Co., where he directed the technology development and implementation of one of the first licensed Certificate Authorities (CAs) in the United States.
