Claire Diaz Ortiz is a co-founder of Hope Runs, a non-profit organization operating in AIDS orphanages in Kenya. She also owns Saving Money Media, a network of websites that help families live better on less.
Ortiz is an author, speaker, and technology innovator who has been named one of the100 most creative people in business by Fast Company. She is the author of several books including Twitter for Good: Change the World and One Tweet at a Time. Ortiz is also an international speaker on business, innovation, and social media at conferences such as South by Southwest, The Mashable Social Good Summit, BlogWorld, Personal Democracy Forum, and United Nations events.
Ortiz holds B.A. and M.A. degrees in anthropology from Stanford University. She also holds an MBA from Oxford University. Ortiz currently works for Twitter.
