CJ Yu currently serves as the head of Branded Entertainment and Integrated Media at Carat, where his role is to reinforce the connective tissue between major Fortune 500 cbrand clients across all regional offices and content creators in the entertainment industry, seeking out the best integration and branded entertainment opportunities for our brand clients at the earliest stages of development across all media platforms (television, film, digital, music and live events).
Prior to his role at Carat, CJ served as Manager of Digital Media at Endemol USA, a division of Endemol Group, a world leading content producer and distributor of television and online programming, including such breakout hits as Deal or No Deal, Wipeout, and Big Brother. CJ joined Endemol after several of experience at various industry leading entertainment and interactive media companies including Mark Burnett Productions, Fox Mobile Entertainment, and Mobile Messenger, where he served in a variety of key leadership roles in both creative and business development.
CJ jump-started his career at the early age of 16 by contributing feature articles and film reviews for the Sacramento Bee while still in high school, opening the door to opportunities at various studios and networks during college, quickly landing a role as a producer at E! Entertainment Networks immediately after graduation. He received his B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles.
