Since joining CoalTek in 2003, Mr. Poirier has spearheaded CoalTek’s efforts to commercialize and deploy the company’s Clean Coal technology, overseeing corporate strategy, operations, financial management and business development. Prior to his current role at CoalTek, Mr. Poirier founded or led several venture-backed technology companies, including Resinate Corporation, GetPlastic, and JR Medical Technology. His extensive experience includes technical sales, business development and management positions at MK Industries and AT&T Global Information Systems. Mr. Poirier is a member of the American Coal Council and a member of the Environmental Committee of the Council of Industrial Boiler Operators (CIBO). Mr. Poirier earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Finance from Boston College.
