Chris Hawker, a serial inventor with more than 20 consumer products on the market, is the founder and president of industrial design firm, Trident Design, LLC. Hawker has invented or designed products including the Onion Goggles (so you don’t cry when you chop onions), the Thirsty Light (a digital sensor which blinks when plants need watering) and the PowerSquid (winner of the 2006 CES Best of Innovations and People’s Choice Award). Hawker and his team work with companies of all sizes, including independent inventors, to create emotionally engaging, beautifully designed products that address life’s everyday problems. Hawker is a director at the United Inventor’s Association where he works to educate inventors on the art and business of inventing.
