Christopher Golda

Christopher Golda is a Canadian technology entrepreneur. His current venture, BackType, is a conversational search engine that helps people find, follow and share comments from across the web. BackType’s technology indexes and connects millions of conversations from blogs, social networks and other social media in near real-time. BackType launched in late August, 2008 after receiving funding from Y Combinator, a famous seed stage venture firm backed by Sequoia Capital and several prominent angel investors. In early 2009, Christopher helped BackType raise a subsequent round of seed financing from True Ventures.

Christopher holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
