Christopher Roy Correa has helped put early-stage internet start-ups on the map and enabled established media brands to develop and deploy marketing, communications, public relations and Web monetization strategies, including site launches, content overhauls and production, ad technology, marketing and advertising operations infrastructure, producing product requirement documents, working with engineering on product releases, and managing relationships with advertisers, ad networks and agencies.
Past work includes Carnegie Corporation of New York, Google, Nike, Omidyar Network, The Rockefeller Foundation, Inter-American Development Bank, the U.S. Department of State and the Group of 20 (G20 Seoul Summit, 2010). He has traveled the world and played a hand in some of the most influential global business, technology and political initiatives of the last decade.
He was the founding social media strategist and media director for Ashoka Changemakers, which he turned into a category leader among its peers. In addition, he developed digital media strategies for Futures Without Violence and Widmeyer Communications.
He is also a frequent public speaker and a regular contributor to Forbes, Business Insider, The Washington Post and Esquire. Correa lives in San Francisco with his wife and their Cavalier King Charles, named Eleanor Rigby. He is working on his first book.
