Chris Travers

Chris Travers is an Internet media entrepreneur, and co-founder of Universal Business Listings. Chris has more than 20 years experience as a senior media executive and consultant to the online, news and Cable TV industries. As a journalist and editor he worked in Australia, England and the United States, including time as a White House correspondent.
He has since held management positions at Reuters, Cablevision and Rainbow Media, and was CEO of FutureTV. He was the co-founder of the interactive media and advertising company, Empire Media and served as CEO of the search engine, Find.com. Based in Connecticut, he is an active entrepreneur and investor in Internet media. He is the co-founder and COO of Name Dynamics Inc which created UniversalBusinessListing.org, the service which syndicates business profiles to search engines, internet yellow pages, social networks, mobile devices and 411 directory assistance.
