Prior to joining BubbleShare as Chief Technology Officer, Chris has been involved in founding and growing several Internet companies including Fivelimes and The X-Stream Network.
The X-Stream Network was Europe’s first free ISP which started a snowball of copy-cat free ISP’s in the late 90’s. Growing to encompass five European countries, Chris earned many frequent-flyer miles setting up and launching the service in new countries, including a Japanese joint-venture. X-Stream was sold to LibertySurf (Tiscali) for $75 million in 2000.
Not long after, Chris formed Semaview, a company focused on developing personal information management applications. Semaview’s eventSherpa was an intuitive desktop calendaring application using remote RSS feeds to inform users of events of interest within their social network and local neighborhood.
Chris is strongly committed to economic sustainability. And when he’s not convincing you to watch An Inconvenient Truth he is burning the midnight oil making sure our technology and photo sharing systems are killer.
After BubbleShare’s acquisition by Kaboose, Chris now holds the position of Vice President of Product Development.
