“Chris oversees the development of our technology platform, strategy, and system architecture. He is also highly involved in our studio negotiations and helping us intersect technology with business development.

Prior to joining us in 2005, Chris held positions as a Vice President of Technology with Sony Pictures Entertainment and the Motion Picture Association of America. At SPE, Chris was responsible for launching MovieLink, a broadband movie download service co-funded by Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Universal Studios, Paramount and MGM. He developed technologies and patents for secure entertainment systems and led engineering at Sony Imageworks to develop visual effects software. At the MPAA, Chris led the association’s participation in a range of digital rights management standards-setting initiatives. An entertainment veteran and movie buff, Chris has worked on dozens of productions, including visual effects for Stuart Little, Contact, Dolores Claiborne, Starship Troopers and Clear & Present Danger.
