As an entrepreneur, I spent the past decade working in technology, digital media and entertainment. Most recently, I Co-Founded Viddy, a leader in mobile social video, and as Head of Business Development, I oversee strategy, marketing, and product partnerships.
Prior to Viddy, I led business development at Ad.ly, an LA-based start-up that connects brands and advertisers with consumers via the social media channels of the most influential artists, athletes and entertainers. From 2005 to 2008, I served as Director of Business Development at Doppelganger, where I secured deals with major media and consumer product brands to populate a music and entertainment-based virtual world for teens. I have also held positions in gaming and entertainment companies, including Activision and Paramount Pictures.
As an active member of the LA/NY/SF entrepreneur community, I am an advisor and angel investor in several exciting start-ups including Songza, Code.org, Beyond Meat, RadPad, and Quietly.
Earlier this year, I was honored to be named on the Vanity Fair Next Establishment list, Social Media Week’s Social 25 and have been recognized as one of LA’s up and coming entrepreneurs by Pando Daily and CSQ Magazine.
I received a Bachelor of Arts in History from University of California at Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from the Graziadio School of Business at Pepperdine University.
