Chris Leydon is a British Creative Digital Media Artist. He is one of the founding Partners of Keyone Productions and the founder of TinyGrab and Pitchie.
Chris studied Film Production Technology at Staffordshire University, where in his spare time he became a regular podcaster and production assistant for pioneering digital media company Mevio. Later, whilst still at University, he would go on to found TinyGrab with his fellow Keyone Productions business parter Nick Cooper.
Taking a gap year in 2010, Chris went onto found Vueo; a new online entertainment channel aimed at the UK student market. Unfortunately after creating and distributing 10 hours worth of unique video content (spread over the space of one month) the company folded due to little commercial advertising interest.
In August 2010 Chris met James Cunningham, in January of the following year they incorporated Pitchie Ltd and raised £33,000 in seed funding to build a new ideas sharing platform and cloud-based hosting solution StackBlaze. Chris left Pitchie in early July 2011 choosing to refocus on his creative digital roots and citing an emotional breakdown.
Chris currently produces The Roundabout Tapes for TechCrunch TV, with Olly Newport. He is also a regular writer and presenter for It’s A Big Thing!.
Chris Leydon meets and interviews Irish originated singer-songwriter Duke Special, for It’s A Big Thing!
