Chris Johnson is a media executive with 15 years’ experience building digital businesses. He oversees development, distribution and editorial operations across all of UGO’s properties, including UGO.com and its family of entertainment Web sites. Most recently, Johnson served as president and chief operating officer of Modelinia, the first video-centric brand dedicated to covering the life of a supermodel. He was previously vice president, content and business development for Hearst Magazines Digital Media, where he was responsible for creating Web-original content experiences, establishing syndication and distribution partnerships and developing the company’s portfolio of Web sites. Johnson was also senior director, portal partnerships at IAC Search and Media (formerly Ask Jeeves) and held several executive roles at America Online, Inc.
