Chris Hibberd has over 15 years of experience in business strategy and corporate development and is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Astute Medical, Inc. He also serves as a Non Executive Director on the Board of UK based Oxford Genome Sciences. Prior to Astute Medical, he worked for 10 years at Biosite Incorporated, as SVP Corporate Development, where he was responsible for the identification and pursuit of strategic business opportunities including technology acquisitions, partnerships and alliances as well as for developing long-range strategic plans. Prior to joining Biosite Incorporated, he was manager at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and was responsible for leading international consultants and client case teams in developing and implementing value-creating strategies for businesses in a variety of industry sectors. Prior to that he held consulting positions at various companies and also was a development engineer for Albright & Wilson Americas from 1987 to 1990.
