Chris Cottle leads the brand and product strategy, public and analyst relations, events, lead generation, marketing communications, and product strategy and management worldwide for Allegiance. Chris Cottle has extensive experience in technology brand building in both B-B and B-C markets. Cottle came to Allegiance from Tandberg Data (previously Exabyte), a global data backup hardware manufacturer, where he ran global marketing. Cottle started his career marketing large technology brands for companies such as Iomega, Infocus, and Adaptec at a large technology-focused branding agency. He started his own marketing agency, Oxygen Studios, which he sold to Caldera (now SCO). Cottle helped Caldera go public and acquire SCO. He left SCO to launch a health publishing company that was acquired by a competitor. Cottle was named a Channel Chief by CRN Magazine, is a frequent marketing speaker and publication contributor, and a member of the CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) Council.
