Chris Barbin is a co-founder and the chief executive officer of Appirio, an IT technology company that provides mobile, social, crowdsourcing, and cloud technology services. Prior to that, he was the senior vice president for business operations and chief information officer of Borland Software.
Before joining Borland Software, Barbin was the senior vice president of global customer services at webMethods, where he managed a team that delivers services to over 1,000 customers, running mission-critical integration applications. He also served as the managing director of W.W. Grainger’s consulting services division.
Barbin holds a bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, and has also studied at the University of Sussex in Brighton, England.
