Chelse Benham is a multi EMMY© and Telly©, Webby© Award-winning television producer/director/editor and marketer with more than 35 international, national and regional awards, including the Webby People’s Voice Award. She received her Bachelor of Science in Radio/Television/Film Production from The University of Texas at Austin. she received her fellowship in Digital Content Design from the American Film Institute. She has a partial MBA in marketing and a MA degree in Theater/Film from The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA).
Ms. Benham is the co-founder and CEO of Virtual Media Mavens and the Chief Marketing/Programming Officer at CycleVision Network (CVN.tv).
Ms. Benham has produced for HGTV, A&E, The History Channel and CBS affiliate WVLT. Ms. Benham has extensive experience in television program development, promotions and marketing with emphasis on social media, integrated marketing. She has authored articles on business protocol and best practices, interactive educational video games and its future relationship with television programming.
Ms. Benham was the Project Coordinator/Principal Investigator and co-designer of the planned Educational Programming Interactive Consortium (EPIC); multi-player interactive computer gaming and television collaboration for education with the Corporation of Public Broadcasting in partnership with Johns Hopkins University, the University of Southern California, and UTPA.
She has served on the Board of Directors for: Knoxville Opera Guild and PBS KMBH TV 60. She was a founding board member of the Texas Motion Picture Alliance and Rio Grande Valley Film Commission
Ms. Benham seeks ventures that incorporate video with digital media to create strong Web presence, mobile applications, and immersive virtual experiences with an emphasis on social media strategy, implementation and execution.
