Charlie Stanley started his technology career in 1997 working in Portland, Oregon, in a computer and software store called Cyber Exchange. Charlie later became Cyber Exchange’s Store Manager and eventually coordinated the move and re-branding of Cyber Exchange to MPH Computing in 2000. When MPH Computing closed its retail doors in 2002, Charlie took his knowledge and experience to General Pacific, where he worked with Robert Rolfe to build the their web hosting division, Weberz Hosting.
After launching Weberz at General Pacific, Charlie shifted his career to wireless telecommunications technology at AT&T Wireless Services (now known as AT&T Mobility). At AT&T, he oversaw operations of Receivables Management and Payment Fraud before accepting a promotion working in Legal & Regulatory Affairs in the Office of the Chairman at AT&T Wireless in Redmond, Washington, where he worked with the executive leadership of AT&T Wireless, AT&T Corp, and Cingular Wireless to resolve legal and regulatory escalations.
Upon the completion of the acquisition of AT&T Wireless by Cingular in 2003, Charlie returned to Portland, Oregon and founded Internet Consulting Firm, Fierce Thought Corp.
Currently Charlie is the Managing Director of Fierce Thought and has once again taken the helm at Weberz Hosting where he oversees the day-to-day operations.
Charlie also has served on the Board of Directors of the Midway Business Association and the Hazelwood Neighborhood Association.
Along with Charlie’s extensive technology experience, he has held sales and management positions with OfficeMax, Blockbuster, Gap, Safeway and Rock Bottom. During off hours and free time Charlie enjoys snowboarding, paintball and roller hockey.
