Charles is a technology and digital media professional with investing and operating experience across a range of seed stage, private venture-backed and publicly traded technology companies.
Charles is Chief Operating Officer at PlayHaven, where he is responsible for the growth and health of the global business. He is also a venture partner at e.ventures, covering mobile, consumer internet and software investment opportunities.
Previously, Charles was Head of Mobile Application Partnerships for Google’s display advertising business in the Americas; leading the team responsible for driving app developer market share across Google’s mobile ad-tech portfolio: AdMeld, AdMob, AdSense, and DoubleClick.
Prior to Google, he was on the business development team at AdMob, where he helped scale the company’s North American publisher base and take it’s initial rich-media advertising, iPad and Android OS efforts to market.
Prior to AdMob, Charles led Strategy and Business Development at PaymentWall (formerly known as Boomerang Networks) where he led the company’s publisher go-to market efforts through the it’s initial product launch.
Previously, Charles was with TriplePoint Capital where he was engaged in venture capital investing in early-to-expansion stage mobile, consumer internet and software startups.
