Charles Pyo, is an only child who fell into the IT world when he was 14 years of age. Charles, the present CEO for company Wizard Works and former CEO for SNS game company Rubicon games holds as a student at one of the top three Universities in South Korea, Yeonse University and conjoint major in Business and Communications. Furthermore, Charles extends his career to mobile in providing cloud services.
Wizard Works, Inc. represents South Korea as an evangelist of widget and mobile technology. Within only one year of its founding, Wizard Works was selected as the Finalist of <Red Herring 100 Asia> Awards and won the grand prize and popularity prize at the Internet / Information Service section from the largest Korean web service award, < Web Award Korea 2007>.
Wizard Works launched personalized portal site, http://wzd.com in 2006, and widget platform ‘Wizard Factory’ in 2008.
During the after three years, based on the best widget technology, Wizard Works took first place at widget marketing, widget development agency, distribution of widget contents, and personalized portal fields.
Since 2011, Wizard Works has focused on mobile cloud service, SomCloud to take the first place again.
