As CEO of soundz.com Chad led a team that built the first music-based search engine for the web, as well as early webcasting of live concerts. Soundz was sold to EnterMedia, an online entertainment company that spun out of Creative Labs.
In 1993 Chad pioneered work in interactive telephony by creating a local, advertising-based entertainment information service called the InfoLine. The InfoLine provided people with movie, music and cultural event information and ticketing services. With the birth of the first web browser in 1994, All-Info.com went online as a “CitySearch-like” city guide. All-Info was acquired by TDS Telecom. Specialties
My career has been focussed on creating consumer digital media products and services in the areas of photos, music, video, gaming, entertainment and animation. I enjoy providing vision for next generation products and services and then building teams that are able to create and deploy them to mass consumer audiences.
I enjoy staying connected to emerging trends and challenges across the digital media space by serving on advisory boards for: Kyte, IODA, LiveBooks and Tune-Up Media.
