A proven pioneer with more than two decades of experience leading innovative emerging technology companies, Celia Francis now sets the strategic direction for WeeWorld’s continued growth as the most popular interactive avatar community.
Celia has developed and managed a plethora of first-to-market products focused on delivering original, well-designed consumer experiences. Prior to joining WeeWorld, Celia held a variety of leadership roles spanning industries such as consumer electronics, the Internet, media and wireless. Celia spearheaded the product development and marketing efforts for T-Mobile in the UK, first as Head of Product and then as VP of Marketing in Europe. Prior to T-Mobile, Celia served as a product development consultant and business development executive for IDEO, one of the world’s leading product design consultancies. Celia also served as VP of Marketing for Xtime, Director of Marketing for AltaVista and as Director of the Consumer Internet Division for Compaq.
Celia earned a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University, as well as an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
