Carlos Escobar

Carlos Escobar is Vice President of Operations at CareCloud, where he is responsible for managing the people and processes that leverage CareCloud’s proprietary systems to drive improvements for physicians and their respective businesses. His mission is to improve the entire revenue cycle management process from implementation through ongoing execution. Escobar comes to CareCloud with numerous years of experience in developing and managing superior technology-enabled business processes.

Prior to CareCloud, Escobar was Vice President of Business Process Improvement for Avisena, a software-enabled revenue cycle management company in the healthcare industry. In this role, Escobar led initiatives that helped the company achieve operational excellence, reduce costs and improve service quality. He initially began at Avisena as the Director of Operations where he built and managed a team of up to 160 employees in the service delivery area. Prior to his 7 year tenure at Avisena, Escobar was a Regional Sales Engineer Manager for Pinnacor, formerly Screaming Media, (NASDAQ: PNCR). Escobar has received extensive Six Sigma training and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Florida International University as well as an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Miami.
